Story:
Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), a young lawyer sent by his company to settle papers of deceased Alice Drablow (Alisa Khasanova), leaves his son in London and moves to the seaside town of Crythin. He faces strange coincidences as series of accidents forced parents keep children indoors. Having spent a night at the Drablows’ house, Arthur hears terrifying screaming of a drowning child. By time he discovers a killer, a ghost of a woman who lost her son Nathaniel being unable to save him from drowning. The Woman in Black (Liz White) becomes terrifying and keeps a sinister secret under her veil: whenever the Woman in Black appears, a child dies. Arthur becomes one more victim as the Woman in Black draws her attention to Arthur’s son. He is forced to act on his own to discover true intents of the ghost. Not only is she an outspoken environmentalist, she’s also his ex-girlfriend. With time running out, Rachel and Adam must rally an unlikely coalition of Inuit natives, oil companies and Russian and American military to set aside their differences and free the whales. As the world’s attention turns to the top of the globe, saving these endangered animals becomes a shared cause for nations entrenched against one another and leads to a momentary thaw in the Cold War.
